Esprit umbrellas are produced under license by Happy Rain, a brand specializing in umbrellas. They reflect the style of the Esprit brand, founded in 1968 in San Francisco. Happy Rain also offers its own models at Bemon.

This is an umbrella whose frame and ribs are designed to snap back into place if a gust of wind turns the canopy inside out. The umbrella does not break and returns to its normal shape. The Esprit Easymatic and Pepito models are equipped with this feature.

The Easymatic automatic folding umbrella weighs 340 grams and measures 29 cm when folded. The Pepito mini umbrella weighs 210 grams and is only 18 cm long when folded, with a diameter of 95 cm when open. Both fit easily into a bag.

The automatic opening is activated by pressing the handle, and the Easymatic also closes this way: convenient when your hands are full. Manual opening, as on the Pepito, allows for a lighter and more compact umbrella.

Slimline refers to a slimmer version of the folding umbrella, with 6 ribs instead of 7. It retains the automatic opening and closing of the Easymatic, for the same weight of 340 grams. It fits more easily into a bag pocket.
