Lunch bags

This is a bag with an insulating lining that limits heat exchange with the outside. When used with an ice pack, it keeps a meal cool for a few hours. It does not replace a refrigerator for an entire day in direct sunlight.

The snack box, being smaller, is sufficient for a recess snack. The lunch box holds a full meal, a drink, and cutlery: it is suitable for children who eat lunch outside the cafeteria or go on school trips.

Empty it after each use, wipe the inside with a sponge and soapy water, then rinse with a damp cloth. Leave it open to dry overnight to avoid odors. Do not machine wash it, as this damages the insulating lining.

Snack boxes and small lunch boxes slip into a 38 cm school bag or a backpack. The larger ones can be carried by hand or over the shoulder. The Tann's lunch box backpack can be carried on its own for outings without a school bag.

With an ice pack, an insulated lunch bag keeps your meal cool for about three to four hours, depending on the outside temperature. Place it in the shade and prepare the food the night before in the refrigerator so that it starts off cold.
