Primary school backpacks

Starting in CE2 (third grade), a 38 cm school bag is recommended: it fits A4 binders and 24 x 32 cm notebooks without folding them. A two-compartment model helps the child separate subjects and find their belongings.

It relieves the back on flat paths, since the weight rests on the wheels. It becomes less practical on stairs and damaged sidewalks. Tann's wheeled models can also be worn on the back, which allows you to alternate.

Many children switch to a backpack in fourth or fifth grade, or when starting middle school. A satchel protects notebooks better, while a backpack is lighter. The essential thing remains a model worn on both shoulders and adjusted to the correct height.

A high-quality schoolbag, well maintained, can last for two to three school years. The straps, zippers, and bottom wear out first. Choosing the right size from the start avoids having to replace it when notebooks get larger.

Tann's regularly collaborates with other brands, such as Cyrillus or Armor-lux, to create school bags and backpacks with exclusive designs. These editions feature Tann's usual formats, with a style unique to the partner brand.
