Lipault

Lipault was founded in Paris in 2005 by François Lipovetsky, with the idea of soft, lightweight, and colorful luggage. The brand was acquired by Samsonite in 2014. It retains its Parisian style and its flagship lines, Plume and Lost in Berlin.

Plume is Lipault's flagship line, made of very lightweight, water-repellent nylon with a soft touch. It includes suitcases from 55 to 79 cm, travel bags, weekend bags, messenger bags, and toiletry kits. There are many colors available, all of which coordinate with one another.

Lost in Berlin is a Lipault line made of coated, rubber-effect canvas that is water-resistant and scratch-resistant. It includes cabin and check-in suitcases, rolltop and cargo backpacks, a toiletry bag, and a garment bag. Its style is more urban than the Plume line.

The nylon in the Plume line is water-repellent: drops slide off the surface. The Lost in Berlin fabric is waterproof. In heavy rain or for a long time on the tarmac, a transparent Lipault cover provides extra protection for the suitcase.

This is a travel bag designed for a two-day trip, larger than a tote and lighter than a suitcase. Lipault's 48H City Plume bag, made of lightweight nylon, holds everything you need for a weekend and slides easily into a trunk or onto a luggage rack.
