Volotea cabin baggage

The small bag included with all Volotea tickets measures a maximum of 40 x 30 x 20 cm. It must fit under the seat in front of you. A handbag, satchel, or small backpack is suitable provided it meets these dimensions once packed.

You must add the priority boarding option or choose a fare that includes it. You can then take a suitcase measuring a maximum of 55 x 40 x 20 cm, in addition to a small bag, into the overhead locker. Book the option in advance; it costs less.

For two or three days, the small free bag can be enough if you travel light: a well-packed backpack of about twenty liters can hold two outfits and a toiletry bag. Beyond that, the priority option and a 55 cm suitcase offer more comfort.

No, a 45 cm suitcase exceeds the 40 cm limit for the free small bag. It must travel as carry-on luggage, with the priority option. For free luggage, choose a soft bag or a small suitcase of 40 cm maximum.

When the overhead bins are full, the airline may place your cabin bag in the hold at the boarding gate, free of charge if it complies with the requirements. Keep valuables, external batteries, and medication with you before handing it over to the staff.
